Dear Mr. Jordan:

As agency head of the Division of Correction, please make available for inspection by the NAACP Prison Support Committee during normal working hours of your agency the following public records maintained and kept by the Division of Correction:

1. All contracts in effect during the period from January 1, 1988 to the present day for the purpose of procuring and otherwise providing medical or health care services to the residents of the Division of Correction. Such contracts would include but are not limited to contracts with Correctional Medical Services, Inc.

2. All appendices, addenda and modifications to the contracts specified in part 1, above.

3. Letters, memoranda and all other written documents between the Division and any health care contractor, as identified in part 1, above, not containing sociologic data or identifying any resident in particular, regarding Division oversight and regulation under said contracts.

4. Copies of any Division regulations, policies, procedures and memoranda relating thereto governing Division oversight of said contracts.

5. Job descriptions, including salary information, for the position of the Division's Director of Health Care Services and any other Division personnel involved in the management of health care service delivery to Division residents.

6. Any internal or external audit reports, both medical and financial, in the custody of the Division regarding health care delivery to Division residents for the period from January 1, 1988 to the present day, including but not limited to reports by the Maryland Division of Health and Mental Hygiene and all other governmental or private agencies.

This request is being made pursuant to the Maryland Freedom of Information Act and COMAR Title 12, Subtitle 11, Chapter 02.
